For her Parrot collection, Jette Scheib densifies her color palette, inspired by the parrot. Using artisanal weaving and folding methods, the colored abaca combines geometric braiding and a circular shape. With the Parrot Pendant Light, Jette has taken up one of the oldest artisanal techniques, rooted in the earth, Jette Scheib pushes her creative process to the extreme, the purpose of which is not one more object, but the interaction between the object and the person, source of well-being. The gesture of the basket maker is close, for the designer, to a meditative gesture, and the basket is an affective object.
